West Center

       The history of the Louis R. West Center is fascinating! Everything from why it was named what is was, to the innovative techniques that were used to build the place. To me the West Center is more than just a place to come and exercise or play a quick pick up game of basketball.

     I chose the West Center to do my slide show on
because of the overall impact and significance it
has on Winthrop's campus. The actually size of
the wight room is what really surprised me. It is a whopping 8,000 square feet. The West Center is a top notch facility that is for the enjoyment of the entire Winthrop community.
